About Our Office

Compass Medical Cardiovascular Center is located on the first level at Southeast Medical Center.  Dr. Jonathan Ellis, Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Medicine, evaluates and follows patients with cardiovascular issues at the highest level of compassion and concern.
 
Our Cardiologist works cooperatively with the Family Practice and Internal Medicine providers to ensure improved continuity of care for our patients.  Our office staff is friendly and helpful and sensitive to each patient’s individual needs.
 
Compass Medical Cardiovascular Center provides onsite, full service cardiovascular testing.

Stress testing:
Myoview stress tests (nuclear imaging with stress testing)
Adenosine myoview stress tests (pharmacological testing)
Stress echocardiograms
Regular Exercise Tolerance Tests
T-Wave Alternans Tests
Echocardiograms
Carotid Ultrasounds
PVRs (Peripheral Vascular Resistance Tests)
Trans-telephonic Pacemaker Interrogations
Holter Monitors
Event Monitors

In addition, we offer Cardiovascular Clinical Research Trials through Partners’ Research and Education Program (PREP). This program was developed in 1998 to bring research trials to the surrounding towns, making them available to all patients with in the community.

If your insurance requires referrals, please consult with your primary care physician. They will assist with the referral and can schedule the appointment with our office. 

All Compass Medical Providers operate on the same electronic medical record system. This “EMR” database facilitates the communication about your healthcare to any Compass Medical department and improves the quality and timeliness of any follow-up care that may be necessary. In addition, all Compass Medical Patients have direct access to our ancillary and specialty services for additional care. For a full listing of all services offered, click here.

The Urgent Care Center at Southeast Medical Center is available to all members of the community.

 

Meet Our Providers

 

George Clairmont, MD

Dr. Clairmont is a graduate of Tufts University School of Medicine. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Clairmont is the current President of Compass Medical, P.C. He is a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society, the Medical Group Management Association, the American Medical Association and the HPHC Pharmacy Committee. Dr. Clairmont's clinical interests include cardiovascular disease, diabetes and lipid disorders.
