East Bridgewater Urgent Care Center

About Our Office

The Urgent Care Center (UCC) in East Bridgewater provides same day care to patients with a variety of non-emergent medical problems, such as respiratory infections, sore throats, sports injuries, musculoskeletal complaints, rashes, urinary tract infections, minor cuts, bruises or burns, allergies, back pain, and some workers compensation initial evaluations.

Our goal is to provide patients with convenient, high quality medical care without the long wait times or high co-pays associated with emergency rooms. The Urgent Care Center is equipped with a full service lab and radiology department. X-rays are read by radiologists from Brigham and Women's Hospital.

At the UCC, no appointments are taken. Patients are seen as quickly as possible upon the time of their arrival.

Patients with medical emergencies should go directly to the nearest hospital emergency department, as the urgent care center is not equipped to handle life threatening conditions. In addition, UCC Providers do not prescribe narcotics.

All Compass Medical Providers operate on the same electronic medical record system. This “EMR” database facilitates the communication about your healthcare to any Compass Medical department and improves the quality and timeliness of any follow-up care that may be necessary. In addition, all Compass Medical Patients have direct access to our ancillary and specialty services for additional care. For a full listing of all services offered, click here.

Compass Medical Urgent Care Centers are available to all members of the community. Non-Compass patients may require a referral.

Meet Our Providers

George Clairmont, MD

Dr. Clairmont is a graduate of Tufts University School of Medicine. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Clairmont is the current President of Compass Medical, P.C. He is a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society, the Medical Group Management Association, the American Medical Association and the HPHC Pharmacy Committee. Dr. Clairmont's clinical interests include cardiovascular disease, diabetes and lipid disorders.
