About Our Office

Our practice began over twenty-five years ago, when Dr. John Diorio decided to lay his “professional roots” down in Brockton, Massachusetts.  In 1991, Dr. Diorio was one of the first providers in the area to bring on a Nurse Practitioner. That was the start of our busy, growing practice. In 1993, Dr. Diorio was one of the founding members of Physicians Health Alliance, which several years later, became known as Compass Medical. Since that time, we have moved to our current location and have three full-time physicians, Dr. John Diorio, Dr. Maria Connor and Dr. Sonali Khond. We also have a per-diem Nurse Practitioner, Patricia White.

Compass Medical Internal Medicine at Easton has a friendly staff that will greet you with a smile. In this office, we always go the extra mile to take care of you and all of your needs. Our practice offers a myriad of services from physical exams, DOT physicals, routine follow-ups, sick visits, and women’s health. We also offer joint injections, diabetic education, Coumadin Management and genetic testing. 

Because our office is highly specialized in caring for geriatrics, all of our providers have scheduled time at nine local nursing homes where they care for Compass Medical Patients.

All Compass Medical Providers operate on the same electronic medical record system. This “EMR” database facilitates the communication about your health care to any Compass Medical department and improves the quality and timeliness of any follow-up care that may be necessary. In addition, all Compass Medical Patients have direct access to our ancillary and specialty services for additional care. For a full listing of all services offered, click here.

Compass Medical Urgent Care Centers are available to all members of the community. Non-Compass patients may require a referral.

 

Meet Our Providers

 

George Clairmont, MD

Dr. Clairmont is a graduate of Tufts University School of Medicine. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Clairmont is the current President of Compass Medical, P.C. He is a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society, the Medical Group Management Association, the American Medical Association and the HPHC Pharmacy Committee. Dr. Clairmont's clinical interests include cardiovascular disease, diabetes and lipid disorders.
