Compass Medical, P.C. Named to 2006 Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Honor Roll

Compass Medical, P.C. was one of only forty-four medical practices in Massachusetts and New
Hampshire named to the 2006 Harvard Pilgrim Health Care adult “Physician Group Honor Roll.”  In
addition, Compass Medical, P.C. was given an “award with distinction,” in recognition of its providers’ outstanding commitment to high quality care.  Compass Medical, P.C. has consistently earned this
Harvard Pilgrim Health Care honor award since its inception in 2002. 

At an award ceremony held on October 24th in Wellesley, MA, George J. Clairmont, M.D., president of Compass Medical, P.C.; Bruce M. Weinstein, M.D., Compass medical director; and Compass Executive
Director Jamie G. Barber, accepted the “award with distinction” on behalf of all eight Compass Medical, P.C. physician practice sites.  Presenting the award were Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Chief Executive Officer Charlie Baker and Roberta Herman, M.D., Harvard Pilgrim Health Care’s senior vice president and chief
medical officer.

An expanding network of primary and specialty medical care providers, Compass Medical, P.C., recently broke ground to construct a 70,000 sq. ft. medical building on Route 18 in East Bridgewater.  To be named Southeast Medical Center, this building will house the network’s urgent care center, ancillary services,
a large primary care group, comprised of both internal medicine and family medicine providers, and many specialty services in conjunction with Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Massachusetts Eye and Ear
Infirmary and South Shore Hospital.
