The Making of Southeast Medical Center

In August, ground was broken to construct Southeast Medical Center (SMC), a 70,000 sq. ft. medical
building that will offer a comprehensive range of medical services and programs to residents in
southeastern Massachusetts. Please refer to the groundbreaking celebration article for a list of
programs and services.

Chronicled for visitors to the Compass website are photos that depict the sequential construction
progress at what will soon be 1 Compass Way, East Bridgewater:

On January 9th, 2007, the construction crew began to enclose the
building to enable ongoing work on the interior, despite temperature
and weather conditions.

Southeast Medical Center saw its first patient on Monday, July 30th.
