Compass Medical is excited to introduce its new Telemedicine services to patients! Telemedicine is an alternative way for our Providers to examine our patient’s needs without having them physically in the office. With Telemedicine, patients can speak to their Providers from the comfort of their own home either by a telephone call or a video call.

This simple and convenient alternative service allows our Providers to conduct routine medical appointments over a telephone call or a video call, such as sick visits, follow-ups, prescription refills, medication management, behavioral health services, and much more!

Compass Medical will be offering Telemedicine services during the current state of emergency to ensure all patients are cared for in the safest way possible.

HOW DOES TELEMEDICINE WORK?

 We're With You Every Step of the Way!

Once you have given your consent to utilize Compass Medicals new Telemedicine services, one of our Medical Assistants will call you prior to your appointment to prep you for your upcoming visit with your Provider. Our Medical Assistants will be with you every step of the way from getting checked in to setting up the call with your Provider! 

For a telephone call appointment, all you need is you and your phone!

HOW DOES TELEMEDICINE VIDEO WORK?

No App, No Download, No Accounts Necessary!

Once our staff has booked your video appointment, you will receive a link to your Providers online waiting room where you will check-in! Once checked in, your provider will start the call when they are ready for you!

You will need to make sure you use one of the following browsers if using a DESKTOP OR LAPTOP: Chrome, Firefox, or Safari. If using an ANDROID device, you will need to use your CHROME browser. If using an APPLE device, you will need to use your SAFARI browser. WHAT TYPE OF VISITS CAN BE CONDUCTED THROUGH TELEMEDICINE?

Acceptable Telemedicine visits include:

  • Sick Visits

  • Follow-Ups

  • Routine Care

  • Medication Management

  • Behavioral Health Services

  • + Much More!

*Please note that physical procedures such as yearly physicals and specific sick visits and follow-ups are not eligible for Telemedicine. Telemedicine visits are based on your Provider's discretion.

Visits that require physical contact, such as procedures, yearly physicals, and certain sick visits and follow-ups, may not be appropriate for a telemedicine visit.  Please check with the provider’s office if you are not sure.
